There's a way life works, and if you refuse to learn, you will console yourself with the support of the misled masses, believing you are doing what is right, or at least thinking since in such situations, you're not accountable to any, then you are OK.
What are right principles? you may ask. I'll summarise them to you, because this post is not exactly for this.
Clear-cut uuPurpose
You see without clear-cut vision or purpose, you will live a poorly-defined life. Should you even have a clear-cut purpose without true life principles, you will lives base life where food, clothes and luxuries alone are important, and where you tend to sneer at everything and everyone rarefied, and have only friends and affiliations that are earthly or transient. And if you are this way, you can't change, because you give no room for different kind of reasoning or inspiration to get to you, or prosper in you.
For example, you see people who see someone saying or making something beautiful, and their only thought is how to make money out of it or to rubbish it, just to make name for themselves -- their poor "selves." They may consider you stupid not putting it online, for instance again; and their only interest is to cultivate any audience with all the propaganda they can come up with. And you should be more attentive now, this is the heart of this post. Do not miss the point. Take hold of it.
Now, take a closer look. In a bid to get popular and also make cursed money, probably, they don't mind destroying another, self image, virtue and everything that may not be easily purchased with money, especially rare gems. And their poor thinking, still being self-led astray,thinks it right, for the reasons stated above. They do not understand life, and most importantly, endorse only affiliations that give no room for them to ever learn, except he a miracle, like this post.
Again, you'll see some who like to censor you because they think, you just want to show yourself, whereas they are crafty and full of excesses, but since they like to, and know how to buy the favour of men, they suppose they are covered. When you start talking or writing or look in that direction, that is when they have to smack that imaginary mosquito biting them. Or sneeze or cough exaggeratedly.
So also you have these ones, especially ladies (and it is more pathetic when you find a man in this group) who like to keep monitoring you and laughing emptily at their own shame and ignorance, and owe allegiance [and reports about your activities] to one another, even in your private affairs like he or she or anybody them is your supervisor, and never think clearly enough that they will nearly die, give up or fight dirty, if the same is done to them; as they often have little or shallow self-discipline [at their core, as I am sure some may want to argue. But then you haven't studied the subject, or else, you'd agree]. Now they will hardly change, because they cannot learn again, so long as something doesn't give (break or change) in their thoughts and relationships. These group of people in the last example hardly have self-control or restraint, and obey every whim and caprice, and have older ladies who feed them old wives' fables.

7 But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers’ tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].
If you're this way, forget it. It doesn't matter where they put you, you are not a builder. Any man or woman building something great can't use you. It is only a matter of time, you will soon feed everything with chaff, and will be unnecessarily difficult, and motivate everyone around you to be insulting and have a sour mind, until you receive apology, because a small, spoilt and likely insecure mind doesn't like to be wrong. And interpret your displeasure or reaction to their excesses as being problematic. But, the end result will always agree with truth.

To be a builder, learn life principles. Life principles can only be learnt by your heart, and your heart will not learn except by meditation. And whatever you learn he heart you will always act out, no matter how much you pretend or try to be nice. But if you're sincere, you can make a change, and the change will start from one point.
If your first inclination is to be nasty always, you're a nasty person. But then you can change it. The abundance of your heart determines your inclination (Matthew 12:34--KJV paraphrased).

So, learn right principles, live life with meaningful purpose, giving meaning to the lives of others, and work with oneness of mind.
